Faisalabad: A man was killed and another injured by robbers, within the Saddar police jurisdiction in Faisalabad on Thursday. Armed men attempted to stop a passenger vehicle and opened fire when the driver ignored them. Resultantly, a bullet hit one of the passengers identified as Muhammad Akbar, 22, who died on the spot. Another passenger identified as Faheem Iqbal was also injured after he sustained a bullet. The body and the injured were shifted to a local hospital for autopsy and treatment. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
