ISLAMABAD: A 60-member delegation of Youth Parliament headed by Faizan Daud and including Leader of the Opposition Saad Baloch called on Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali at Supreme Court on Friday.
A press release issued by the Supreme Court said that CJP welcomed the delegation and gave them an overview of the judicial system of Pakistan and briefed them about the judicial and social issues being faced by the country. The chief justice appreciated the spirit of the youth to serve the country and expressed hope that being the future of the country they will work for the betterment of the country under the umbrella of forums such as Youth Parliament. He also answered the questions of the delegation during interactive session.
Members of the delegation thanked the CJP for sparing time for them and presented a souvenir to him as token of respect and gesture of goodwill. The chief justice also reciprocated the gesture by presenting a memento on the occasion.
