QUETTA: Hundreds of protesters continued blocking Quetta-Chaman highway on second consecutive day on Saturday in protest against kidnapping of people and other heinous crimes being reported in Chaman, Pishin and other areas of the regions.
The activists of All Parties Action Committee and “Anjuman Tajran” set-up a protest camp in Kosak Top area on Quetta-Chaman road blocked the road.
DPO Chaman, Asad Khan Nasar and Assistant Commissioner, Chaman, Hafiz Muhammad Qasim reached Kosak Top site and held negotiations with the protesters to convince them to clear the road but they denied ending the blockade of the road.
