ATTOCK: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a 65-year-old Ahmadi man here on Saturday, police said.
They said Abdul Hameed Khan, a retired accountant living in Darul Islam neighbourhood in Attock, was standing outside his house when two unidentified motorcyclists shot him in his face.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. A senior police official said that Hameed belonged to the Ahmadi community and was running a pharmacy in the area after his retirement.
A case has been registered against the unidentified attackers in Attock City police station. According to police, it could either be a family dispute or a religiously motivated attack.
