Water is a second most important basic need of human beings. It is a natural fact that without water we can’t be able to live even for few days. However, Karachi is facing a great water shortage problem nowadays. It is very disappointing that many areas in our city are facing various difficulties due to shortage of water.
The main problem is a supply of water as the water board supplies water for few hours in which people aren’t able to store water even for few days and then residents have no choice but to surrender to the tanker mafia and buy water tankers at extraordinary prices. On the other side, the poor people aren’t rich enough to buy these expensive water tankers. I request the water board authorities to look into the matter and take appropriate steps to ease the situation.
