SDA, SSIC employees rally for salaries

HYDERABAD: A large number of the employees of Sehwan Development Authority (SDA) and Sindh Small Industries Corporation (SSIC) are continuing protest and hunger strikes for release of their salaries.

Hundreds of protesting employees in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Jamshoro and other districts of Sindh holding bread have appealed the higher authorities for issuance of salaries in the month of Ramazan.

They said the SDA employees staged a protest for not getting their 14 months salaries and their families are suffering from starvation since long. They said that they are permanent employees of SDA and regularly perform their duties but they are not being paid them salaries.
