ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has greeted the Muslims on the advent of Ramazan and urged them to pray for peace all around, seek forgiveness of their sins and to reach out to the poor and destitute in the Holy month of Ramazan.
The month of fasting is also a month of self-purification, introspection and alms giving, Zardari said in a message on the occasion and called upon the people to reach out to the poor, the less fortunate, the needy and particularly to those who have been uprooted from their homes in recent times due to fight against militants and extremists and help in alleviating their miseries.
The former president also asked people to pray for peace all over the world and especially within the Muslim World and in Pakistan.
