Education – A divergent and transformational force

Author: Avinash Advani

Education is the dynamic force. It’s a virtuous indicator to groom an individual personality and maturity level because without education there is no future. People get education by endeavour. Education is the key force for everyone because a nation cannot survive without appropriate education. It provides physical and mental standards and transforms people’s living standards.

When we talk about education in Pakistan, we’ve had the best scholars in the world like Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He wasn’t only the first governor general but also contributed towards students and youth of Pakistan. He empowered the youth and Pakistani students through his motivational quote: “You must concentrate on gaining knowledge and education. It is your foremost responsibility. Political awareness of the era is also part of your education. You must be aware of international events and environment. Education is a matter of life and death for our country.”

We should follow his steps while it is indeed to promote education and transfer the knowledge towards the people of Pakistan. Our culture teaches us that if you are educated then educate others at the same time. Education is not only evident by your degree but also your manners, respect and optimistic behaviour rather than pessimism.

We must be aware that through education we can highly impact economy growth like energy healers by the positive relationship between education and economic but in Pakistan there is a lack of a proper education system. There are several dampers by political influence, terrorism and law situations. It isn’t easy for girls in Pakistan to gain education? they are facing hurdles in many areas. However, this situation is becoming better as women are getting more awareness and know that there is no future or survival without education.

These are basic issues which should be resolved by providing knowledge and education. First and foremost, it must be free and approachable for everyone, especially in areas like Interior Sindh such as: Thatta, Badin, Thar and Shahdadkot. There is the “Wadera System” in which the wadera doesn’t educate his villagers because they are scared and under pressure? that if they spread education the villagers, they will be aware of their rights and might rebel against him (Yes, this happens). I wanted to get admitted into Aitchison College, Lahore, the BEST school for boys. But due to lack of resources I couldn’t study there. Every parent wants the best for their children.

Furthermore, we need ethical values that help make the world more peaceful by spreading education. After that we will be able to learn the cross culture values and be able to build relationships that enable us to interact with people from different cultures and regions. Education provides us with various types of knowledge and skills. It is a continuous, slow and secure process of learning. It is a continuous process which starts when we are born and ends when our life ends.
