Corruption rampant in all govt depts: Siraj

ISLAMABAD: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq while criticising the performance of several government departments has said that corruption is on its climax in all the government departments. He said that 200 million people of country are direct victim of this corruption.

Siraj said that there is not only financial corruption in the country but also moral, electoral and judicial corruption adding that government departments are in grip of dishonesty. Sirajul Haq said, “Only JI can save Pakistan from the rampant corruption because we do not have any allegations or stigma of corruption against us.” In an interview, JI ameer has stated that people should have to rise against this political and economic terrorism.

While terming it as economic terrorism, he urged people who had gathered in the rally to raise their voice against growing corruption in the corridors of power.

He said, “The rulers have not only failed us, they have destroyed the future of coming generations of this country.” Responding a question regarding Panama Papers, he said Islamabad itself is a Panama as people sitting on top posts illegally use their posts. He said that incumbent rulers earned their money from Pakistan and invested it in foreign countries.
