Qadri invites PML to participate in June-17 sit-in

LAHORE: A delegation of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) headed by Secretary General Khurrum Nawaz Gandapur called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Parvez Elahi at his residence here today on Saturday and presented him invitation from PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri for participation in June 17 sit-in.

“We talk about Model Town tragedy on every platform, nobody can forget this tragedy, this is a bloody episode of oppression of the present rulers and the oppressed must get justice, blood of the martyred should not be allowed to go waste,” Elahi said.

He said that he had reached Minhajul Quran Secretariat ahead of everyone. Along with the invitation, Khurrum Nawaz Gandapur also presented a pamphlet about Model Town tragedy which briefed about the situation after the tragedy till now.
