Terror bid foiled

KARACHI: Police have foiled a terror bid and arrested 35 suspected persons including 2 alleged terrorists and seized large amounts of explosive material and Kalashnikovs during a massive operation in the area of Manghupir. A heavy contingent of police, acting on a tip off about presence of terrorists conducted search operation in the area of Muhammad Khan Colony and Pir Jogoth. The entry and exit points of the area were sealed. The police searched the hideouts of the terrorists, apprehended 35 suspects and shifted them to an unspecified location for investigation.
