Sir: In the 20th century, the plight of a common man was given much space in the literature and the focus was reverted from princes to the common man. But in real life, this common man is still entangled in his pursuit of livelihood. For example, the rate of inflation has increased manifold in Pakistan for the last many years.
Resultantly, the woes of the common man have also multiplied while he remains busy in meeting his basic needs of life. In the race for survival of the fittest, he finds himself out of place as he has to accumulate all means for earning his bread and butter. People expect from the government that it will take some positive steps to give relief to the general public through its public-friendly measures. It is hoped that the common man will also succeed in securing his due place in society.
