ISLAMABAD: On the orders of the court, Police Station Kohsar has registered two cases against Ali Amin, son of former IG Police Islamabad Binyamin, on the charges of fraud.

Though the police have registered cases on the applications of both the plaintiffs, but on the intervention of an important personality the police could not arrest the accused and also prevented an investigation of the case.

The police by using traditional tactics , began to exert pressure on the applicants , while they convinced one of them so that the report of “All okay” may be sent to the big bosses.

An owner of an electronics shop at Blue Area Islamabad, Sheikh Tanvir Ahmed, has submitted an application to the police station in which he has taken up the stance that the accused Ali Amin bought some items from his shop worth Rs 103,000 and gave a cheque, which bounced afterwards.

When he demanded the money from Ali Amin, he bluntly refused to pay. First of all he gave an application at the Police Station Kohsar but in vain. So he knocked the door of a court of law for justice. The second applicant Naeem Sarwar Chaudhary told the police in his application that he did the business of rent a car and property dealing at Blue Area. Ali Amin had a business dealing with him and gave a cheque for the Rs 315,000 which bounced. Naeem Sarwar Chaudhary told Daily Times that four days ago the police had made a settlement between him and the accused as he had received all his money .

However the sources told this scribe that the police had harassed him at the police station and he gave his statement under the pressure of the police.

The police is also trying to put pressure on the second plaintiff Sheikh Tanvir to save the skin of the ex-IG ‘s son. It is pertinent to mention here that a case was registered against Ali Amin for killing his wife, Palwasha.
