Pakistan temporarily blocks social media

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority today has temporarily blocked social media services including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, sources said.

The temporary ban will be imposed Friday (today) from 11 am to 4 pm all over Pakistan.

According to sources, a notification about the suspension of social media services will be issued soon.

It is reported that the services are suspended as protests by TLP workers are expected after Jumma.
