GHOTKI: At least 21 suspected persons including wanted persons have been apprehended during a search operation by police in Ghotki. While talking to media personnel in Ghotki on Tuesday, SSP Masood Ahmed Bangash said that police conducted a search operation and arrested a robber Dillo Tarat, involved in crimes in Sindh and Punjab.
He said the detainee was wanted to Sindh and Punjab police in more than 30 cases of kidnapping for ransom, murder and robbery adding that the government had announced a head money of Rs 1.5 million for his arrest. Meanwhile, police conducted a raid and also arrested three robbers identified as Murad Shar, Kuraro Shaikh and Jaffar Shar, who were wanted to police in more than 60 cases. The SSP said that the government had announced Rs 0.5 million head money. Similarly, police also conducted search operations and arrested 17 suspected persons while recovering weapons from their possession.
