Members of Sindh Naujawan Ittehad (SNI) took out a large rally from Ayoob Colony on Friday, demanding an extradition of Afghan refugees and other aliens from Sindh.
Holding placards and chanting slogans in favour of their demands, the protestors marched through various thoroughfares and culminated at Jinnah Bagh.
The participants included Aslam Tunio, Badaruddin Mirani, Darya Khan Tunio, Ghafoor Chandio, Muzaffar Soomro, Aqib Memon and others.
The leaders of the SNI, while addressing the participants said that seven million Afghan refugees are looting economic rights of the people of Sindh illegally and unlawfully since long, but the rulers have taken no notice of such aliens’ criminal activities despite the fact that their period has ended on 20th June 2020.
They said these outsiders are extremely harmful for the country specially Sindh, as they are involved in brutal killings of Irshad Ranjhani, Beerabl Shar and others in Karachi. They said peace and tranquility has been ruined by these people, who should be deported without loss of further time to maintain law & order and peace in the country.
They demanded the rulers to deport all of Afghan refugees without loss of further time so that their economic rights of the locals are safeguarded and peace is maintained in the province or else, they warned, they will expand their struggle against them.
