ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has urged the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to help end the systematic human rights violations in Indian held Kashmir (IHK).
While addressing the council, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Tehmina Janjua underlined that the situation of human rights in occupied territory remains grave and requires immediate attention of the Human Rights Council, state-run radio reported.
She said ending human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir is the first essential step towards resolution of this long-standing dispute.
