Protest against illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, staged a demonstration in Srinagar in Indian held Kashmir (IHK), against the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders and activists. The women activists of Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen led by the party chairperson, Zamruda Habib, in Srinagar demanded immediate release of all Kashmiri prisoners languishing in different jails.

Zamruda Habib appealed to the international community to play its role in the release of the Kashmiri detainees. The protesting women said, “We are also protesting to draw the attention of the international community towards the urgency involved in the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.”
