Meter readers to get extra Rs 2,000

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) has approved to give an honorarium amounting to Rs 2,000 to those meter readers who will take quality snaps of meter-reading.

At the request of the labour union, IESCO Chief Rana Abdul Jabbar issued orders for granting honorarium to the meter readers for taking quality photographs of meters during reading. According to a letter, the SEs and the XENs of all zones including Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal, Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been directed to inform the sub-divisional officers to implement the orders.
