Rainfall in Sindh claims nine lives

KARACHI: Rainfall on Tuesday proved to be a relief for most but not some as nine people died in Sindh, including four in Karachi.

According to details, the rainfall in the provincial capital of Sindh claimed four lives while in Tharparkar and Badin, five people died which also included two women.

In Karachi’s Azizabad area, a 40-year-old man named Rasheed died after receiving an electric shock. A 12-year old child by the name of Mohtasim also died due to electric shock. Mohtasim was a resident of the city’s New Karachi area.

Two more citizens died due to electric shock at Anda Mor Road. In Tharparkar, lightning killed five persons which included two women. Three people were also injured in the incident.
