ISLAMABAD: Maryam Nawaz Sharif is busy nowadays in the preparation of according a warm welcome to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Khawaja Hasaan has been assigned the task of giving a historical welcome to Nawaz Sharif.

The arrival of the prime minister is expected at the Lahore airport on July 12. The sources said that the prime minister would undergo a comprehensive medical check-up on July 2 in London before coming to Pakistan.

The sources said that the workers and the leadership of the PML-N would accord the prime minister a grand reception on his arrival.

The PM has intentions to speak with the defiant parliamentarians on Skype before coming to Pakistan . These members of the National Assembly had showed their resentment during his the absence. In this connection Maryam Nawaz Sharif convinced them to shun their differences with the top leadership of the party, as it was looking after the affairs in the PM’s absence. She also made pledges to them to fulfil all their demands.

The sources said that the prime minister after his arrival would also speak to a large public gathering at Lahore and it is very much likely that he may announce Maryam Nawaz as his political predecessor. The sources said that Nawaz Sharif had taken a decision in principle that Maryam would be his political successor and now the announcement was on the cards.

After his return , Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would assign the important responsibility of Special Adviser to the Prime Minister and she would be given the status of a federal minister.

The sources said that after assumption of the new charge , Maryam Nawaz would address public gatherings at different places of the country and full security would be provided by the federal government. Arrangements for her as a dependency on the Punjab government would not be in force for her security.

The sources also said that the new appointment of Maryam Nawaz would be made after a thorough consultation with legal and constitutional experts as no citizen can move the court regarding her induction as a special adviser.

The sources also said that during the absence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif , his daughter Maryam Nawaz showed her abilities and ran the state affairs with a great sense of responsibility .

During his illness , the prime minister was forced to take a decision for making the future safe for Maryam Nawaz due to the growing influence of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other political stalwarts.

The leaders and die hard workers of PML-N are getting placards, posters and banners published for the warm welcome of the prime minister, and these would be installed throughout Lahore city after Eid. The insiders from the league also told this scribe that most of the leaders focused on the picture of the prime minister with his mother when he was leaving for surgery last month.

On the other hand his opponents are terming the arrangments for his welcome an extra load on the national exchequer. The critics are of the view that although the prime minister got well after a major surgery the problems of the people were still standing.

They said that terrorism was going to play havoc in Karachi and there was no law and order in Punjab . In these circumstances the welcome of the prime minister by using national wealth was not an appropriate action.

The opponents of the PML-N are saying that those who are keen to welcome Nawaz Sharif , had run away leaving him alone at the airport during the regime of Pervez Musharraf. They said that in the name of a welcoming ceremony , a plan to waste the national wealth was being made.

They said that this would increase the disappointment of the nation, as if he would had been cleared from the charges of the Panama leaks. The PML-N was negating its manifesto by according a welcome to the pm with expenses incurred on the national kitty.
