Abducted woman rescued

SHIKARPUR: A hostage woman, 35, from Karachi, has been rescued from clutches of kidnappers near riverine area of Khanpur. However the culprits have managed to flee away from the scene. According to Shikarpur police, woman had been kidnapped by her two neighbours, Zafar Iqbal including a woman in a doped condition four years back. She had been sold to accused persons, Muhammad Sharif a resident of Khairpur Mirs and later to another accused Abdul Fatah Jatoi a resident of the Katcha area of Shikarpur. The recovered woman will be handed over to her relatives after completing necessary formalities, police said.
