Bomb blast injures 11 in Mardan

MARDAN: At least 11 people including police officers sustained severe wounds in a bomb blast in a shop near Toro Chowk in Mardan on Tuesday.

The rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the victims to District Headquarters Hospital for medical assistance, where doctors said that three of the affectees are in critical condition.

Police officials said that 600 kilograms of explosive material was used in the bomb whereas no loss of life has been reported yet.

Moreover, bomb disposal squad also reached the area and launched a search operation.
