President condemns terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain while strongly condemning terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia expressed solidarity with King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the people of Saudi Arabia, a press release issued by the President’s media office here on Tuesday said.

The president said that the government and people of Pakistan and he himself stood with their Saudi brethren in this hour of grief. He also said that as terrorism had become a global phenomenon, the Muslim world would have to adopt a joint strategy to fight it.

While commiserating with the Saudi families affected by terrorist attacks, Mamnoon said that the people of Pakistan equally shared their grief.

President Mamnoon had returned to the country from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah on Tuesday. Besides performing Umrah, he also paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Holy city of Madina.
