QUETTA: The police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel on Saturday recovered huge cache of weapons during search operation in Kalli Shahozai area of Quetta. According to sources, the security forces conducted door-to-door search operation and confiscated four 9-mm pistols, one 12-bore pistol, five 30-bore pistols and several cartridges. However, no arrest was made while the arms have been handed over to Barori Police. Meanwhile, Frontier Corps (FC) and police arrested 12 suspects and recovered arms from their possession in Quetta and Killa Abdullah districts on Saturday. According to FC spokesman, acting on a tip off, FC and police personnel carried out a search operation in Shahozai, area of Quetta and apprehended 10 suspects along with weapons. Meanwhile, two suspects were held with arms by FC personnel in a search operation in Killa Abdullah town. Further investigation is underway.
