NDMA to dispatch 30 tonnes of wheat for Chitral flood victims

ISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Major General Asghar Nawaz on Saturday directed the officials of NDMA to dispatch 30 tonnes of wheat for the flood affected people of Chitral on Saturday. According to Radio Pakistan, he issued the directives during a visit to the flood hit areas of Chitral, including Ursoon Village, to monitor the relief and rehabilitation work there. He was accompanied by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority director general and civil administration officials.
