Sir: Verifying CNICs of the entire population of Pakistan is going to be a messy affair, if the earlier process of SIM verification is any guide. It will be especially difficult for senior citizens. Furthermore, in most cases, the lines of their thumbs and fingers are not readable on the bio-metric gadgets. It is requested to the honourable Interior Minister that senior citizens with life time date of expiry on their CNICs, may kindly be exempted from the tedious procedures of CNIC verification.
