Political parties urged to join hand for supremacy of Parliament

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has urged all political parties to join hand for the supremacy of Parliament and continuity of democratic system in the country.

Talking in a TV programme, she said that Parliament is a sovereign institution and its members should ensure its sovereignty. The minister said various surveys show prime minister as the most popular leader in the country and by raising banners in his support people express their solidarity with him.

She said expression of reservations about JIT proceedings is the right of Sharif family. She said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N believes in supremacy of constitution and rule of law and respects judiciary.
