Domestic tourists turn to Murree to enjoy summer vacations

ISLAMABAD: Domestic tourists from different parts of the country are visiting the “Malika-e-Kohsar” Murree to enjoy the pleasant weather with their friends and families.

A report aired by a private news channel said, with the advancement in technologies, people had developed interest in visiting and exploring new places during their summer vacations.

The tourists consider Murree and Nathiagali as the most accessible tourist spots while they are also like hot cakes to those having an urge for exploring more spots to spend the vacations.

People from all over the country wish to visit there during the summer season to enjoy its beauty.

During the past few decades, Murree (Patriata), have also developed as recreational spots.

A tourist Waqas Ali said that the people felt comfortable in Murree as the weather was pleasant to enjoy with one’s family.

Tourists visit the different remote areas and enjoy the chairlift at Pindi Point. Murree also had many naturally beautiful picnic points and there was no

doubt that it was the best place to spend summer holidays, he said.

However, shopkeepers said that due to the rush of the tourists, the business was going well and they were expecting a good season for business as the visitors are coming from all over the country.

The weather of Murree plays an important role in its popularity. During the summer season — middle of May to August – the temperature remains 15-30 Celsius and due to the pleasant weather thousands of visitors from all over the country visited and spend their vacations there.

In Muree there are lots of restaurants and hotels which are almost all booked during summer when people go there to breathe fresh and unolluted healthy air.

These hotels charge different rates from the visitors. The rates of the hotel room also depend on the weather in which one goes to Murree.
