The Gold Awards 2020 was held last night and it saw in attendance many popular television celebrities such as Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan, Arjun Bijlani, Sharad Malhotra, Dheeraj Dhoopar, among others. Gold Awards is an annual awards show to honor the best performers in the TV industry. It was first awarded in 2007.

Sidharth Shukla won two trophies at the event for Style Icon of Television Industry (male) and Style Icon of Social Media (male). He was seen wearing a Manish Malhotra outfit for the awards.

Hina Khan was awarded the Style Icon of Television Industry (female) and Style Icon of Social Media (female). She took to Twitter and wrote an inspiring note on how hard work always pays off. She tweeted a picture of herself looking stunning in a black and white crepe gown and wrote, “Vision is the yield of futuristic zest and continuous hard work. If you get worthy appreciation and motivation along the way, the journey stands tall and inspiring. Some stories are filled with gold even when u can’t see the colours. Thank you (sic).”

The Hot Stepper Award went to Surbhi Chandna. Arjun Bijlani and Sharad Malhotra won Dada Saheb Phalke award for their contribution to the TV industry. Surbhi looked gorgeous in a shimmery silver off-shoulder dress, while Sharad wore a grey suit and white shirt.

Dheeraj Dhoopar won the Most Glamorous TV actor, while Shraddha Arya won the Most Glamorous TV actress.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s second music video together Shona Shona released today. The song is composed and sung by Tony Kakkar in collaboration with Neha Kakkar. It is presented by Anshul Garg. The rumoured couple has a great chemistry throughout the video.
