LAHORE: After an exhaustive consultative process, the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) and stakeholders on Tuesday reached a consensus on Minimum Service Deliver Standards (MSDS) for healthcare establishments as well as the fee structure of the licensing of the HCEs.
PHC Chief Operating Officer Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan disclosed this after a joint meeting of the PHC with Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) and Pakistan Academy of Family Physicians at the commission office. It was agreed that all types and categories of healthcare establishments would be emphasised to apply for license from PHC after paying the license fee, as per the fee structure available at the commission’s website. It was also informed that double fee would be charged after the end of stipulated time period.
