Protest held against SEPCO

KHAIRPUR: Annoyed citizens held a protest against SEPCO for not repairing a power transformer in Khairpur on Tuesday. The residents of Altaf Colony, Abid Colony, Shaheedabad, Mohalla Sirai Ghnawar Khan held a protest at Khairpur Press Club. The protesters said that the transformer in their localities went out of order a week ago; as a result they informed authorities concerned to either change it or repair it, as the heatwave could affect the health of the inhabitants. They said that SEPCO did not take notice of the complaints.
