Gilani holds meeting to discuss PDM rally arrangements

Yousaf Raza GillaniYousaf Raza GillaniFormer prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani on Tuesday held a meeting with prominent leaders of PML-N and JUI-F to discuss necessary preparations regarding upcoming PDM public gathering in Multan on November.

While addressing the participants, the former prime minister said that the PDM public gathering in Multan will prove last nail in the coffin of the government. He said that PPP has taken all the local leaders of other parties on board to make necessary preparations and make a successful power show. He said the PPP has submitted application to DC Multan for permission of venue at Qillan Kohna Qasim Bagh and has assured the administration that all the SOPs regarding Covid-19 would be followed. He said that as foundation day of PPP is also on November 30, the PPP will host the show and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also address the public gathering.

Sheikh Tariq Rashid, Divisional General Secretary of PML-N, said the party has started a mass contact campaign. He further said that on November 14, MNA Rana Sanaullala and MPA Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari would reach Multan to mobilize the workers. He claimed that around 1 lac people will participate in the public gathering.

The participants of the meeting warned the government not to create any hurdle in the way of PDM Multan gathering. They said that government wants to stop them on the name of corona, but Imran Khan himself was holding processions.
