Three foreigners harassed in the federal capital

An incident of harassment of 3 foreign girls has taken place in the federal capital Islamabad on Saturday.

The incident took place in the area within the Kohsar police station in Islamabad, where three women from Turkey, Italy and Norway were harassed.

According to police, the three foreigner girls went to Sinyari forest and lost their way, after which three men harassed them. The harassers fled upon meeting resistance from the girls.

The spokesman said that as soon as the police received the information, they began search for the girls, and recovered them from the forest safely. The police search operation for the accused men is underway and they will be arrested soon.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Waqaruddin Syed has directed to arrest the perpetrators of harassment of foreign girls.
