Actor Geoffrey Palmer has died aged 93, his agent has announced. He was known for roles in sitcoms as Butterflies and As Time Goes By, in which he starred alongside Judi Dench. He also had roles in the The Avengers, Fawlty Towers and Doctor Who. He acted alongside Dame Judi again in Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. He died peacefully at home, his agent said.
