Equipping youth with skills top priority: minister

Provincial Minister of Punjab for Higher Education Raja Yassir Humayun has said that equipping youth with skills and promoting entrepreneurship culture for youth empowerment is the top priority of the government.

Addressing the inaugural session of online portal of COTHM Group of Colleges Launch, he stated that COTHM online business school has been launched to equip young people with necessary skills and training and enable them to thrive in the world of work.

While talking exclusively to Daily Times, Yassir pledged to provide strategic guidance for strengthening and promoting public private partnership to identify and scale solutions, unlock investments and empower young people to play a positive role in the society, particularly in the field of hospitality.

Ahmad Shafiq, the Founder & CEO of COTHM, expressed his vision about future of learning, and COTHM’s readiness by offering globally accessible and accredited programs. He further stated that this is in line with our corporate progressive approach of bringing international qualifications across the world and adding them to diversified training portfolio of COTHM Group of Colleges.

Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfaraz, who was the chief guest of the ceremony, applauded the initiatives taken by the COTHM and its management to provide the skilled and globally recognized education in Pakistan. He congratulated Mr. Ahmad Shafiq at the launch of COTHM online business school and said “COTHM online business school will be the new trend in online education”.
