Lahore: The computerisation of land records in Punjab has recently been reviewed by a World Bank mission, which included Mary Lisbeth, Igor Pop, Linus Pott and Deputy Project Director Maqbool Ahmad Dhawla alongside other members.
The delegation visited the Arazi Record Centre in Hafizabad to review the records, said a press release issued here on Friday. On reaching the Centre, Dhawla briefed the mission about the progress in the computerization of land records.
He also said that the record of more than 23,000 rural mouzas of Punjab had also been computerised whileArazi Record Centres have already been established in all 143 tehsils of Punjab.
It was also noted that a computerised service delivery system has also been introduced for the issuance of Fard and mutation documents.
