Chinese firm to invest in transport sector

LAHORE: Wow Solution CEO, Wang Lixu led a Chinese delegation to meet with the Lahore Transport Company (LTC) on Tuesday to discuss their keen interest to invest in the urban transport sector and especially concerning the Airport Shuttle Service, officials who met with the delegation included Chief Financial officer Mariam Khawir and LTC Chief Executive Officer Khawaja Haider Latif among others.

According to a press release, the Chinese delegation hoped to employ luxury buses in order to provide commute to people from the airport to different hotels on designated routes. This plan also included offering drivers state of the art simulation technology and training under the Bus Drivers Training Simulator Project.

The project will not be funded by the government and the LTC itself will help commence operations. Wang reported praised the LTC for taking the initiative to help provide affordable and efficient transportation facilities.
