Peshawar police recover huge cache of arms

PESHAWAR: Police claimed to have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from different parts of Peshawar during last week, official report said on Saturday.

According to reports, police conducted search and strike operations in different parts of the provincial capital and adjoining areas. Police seized at least 23 kalashnikovs, 13 repeating rifles, 15 other rifles, 134 pistols and 2,903 bullets. The operation was carried out under the directions of Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) Operations Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat.
