LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol arrested 42 criminals, including 15 proclaimed offenders, and rendered help to 1,512 commuters during last week. The PHP spokesperson on Sunday said on the instructions of Additional IG (Patrolling) Amjid Javid Saleemi, PHP teams arrested 15 POs, including Ramzan, Fazal, Irshad, Faiz Hussain, Shahid, Sahib Yar, Munir Ahmad, Imran, Iqbal, Lal Badin, Abid Hussain, Ghulam Shabir, Umar, Ashiq Hussain and Yasin. He said the PHP teams recovered 210 grams charas, 268 litres wine, nine pistols and 56 bullets while arresting 18 criminals namely Mudassar Farooq, Affaq, Mehmood, Ghulam Shabir, Ali, Asif Hussain, Irfan, Iqbal, Mudassar, Ghulam Farid, Hamza, Naseer, Waqas, Yaqoob, Abdul Wahab and Adeel. Moreover, the PHP team reunited eight children namely Zeeshan, Bilal, Ateeq, Hadir Ali, Shahbaz, Waseem, Waqas and Ahmad Ali, with their families.
