Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information Kamran Khan Bangash has said the government has decided to purchase eight-hundred thousand tons of wheat to ensure provision of the commodity to the masses.
According to media reports while speaking at a news briefing in Peshawar on Sunday afternoon, the Special Assistant said concerned departments are working to ensure wheat is available to people at government rates.
He said provincial government is taking concrete steps for the revival of the historic glory of Peshawar and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan is personally monitoring the ‘Peshawar Revival Plan’ to preserve ancient sites of the city to their original status. The Special Assistant said the government is also putting in efforts to develop the tribal districts to bring them at par with the settled districts and speedy work is being carried out on several projects there.
