5000 Afghan refugees return home in one week

ISLAMABAD: At least five thousand Afghan refugees voluntarily returned to their homeland from Pakistan, during the last week.

Refugees Affairs Minister Spokesman Islamuddin Jurat said that some of the returned Afghan refugees had no legal documents as was reported in Voice of America.

UNHCR provided cash as aid to those families having legal documents, while the Afghan Refugees ministry was to provide aid to those without legal documents.
