LAHORE: Ghaziabad Police on Tuesday arrested a gang of three women involved in shoplifting and other theft cases, besides recovering gold ornaments, car, motorcycle and cell phones from their possession.
According to details, on the directive of Cantt SP Ebadat Nisar, effective measures were being taken by the police against notorious gang involved in house and shop theft cases. The Cantt SP constituted a special team, under the supervision of a DSP, comprising Ghaziabad SHO Ateeq Ahmad and other police officials.
As many as 55 cases were traced against these culprits in different police stations. The police recovered a car, a motorcycle, gold, cash and cell phones from their possession. The arrested culprits were identified as ringleader Shabanum alias Rabia, Robina and Kaneez Fatima.
