District Police Officer Kasur Zahid Nawaz Marwat has relinquished his post to attend the NIPA training course.

A large number of subordinate staff, police officers and citizens bade farewell to Zahid Nawaz Marwat with utmost respect. According to details, on the last day, Zahid Nawaz Marwat met the office staff before leaving and thanked them for their full support. Office staff, subordinate officers, social personalities and a large number of people expressed their love and presented bouquets and flower petals to Zahid Nawaz Marwat and filled the streets with flowers.

Citizens greeted Zahid Nawaz Marwat with garlands and bands. On the occasion of departure of Zahid Nawaz Marwat, a large number of citizens gathered at Kashmir Chowk, Steel Bagh Mor, Lari Ada and Mustafaabad. According to the citizens, Zahid Nawaz Marwat is one of the most capable, dutiful and hardworking officers of the Punjab Police who, due to his professionalism, arrested the accused in the Chunian rape case for a short period after Zainab case successfully served in these test cases.

Citizens further said that Zahid Nawaz Marwat has rendered invaluable services to ensure law and order in Kasur district, especially in eradicating sexual crimes against children. The services and efforts of Zahid Nawaz Marwat will be written in golden letters. Zahid Nawaz Marwat thanked the citizens and said that he is collecting so much love from the people which he will always remember.
