KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) recovered 40 kilogrammes of charas from a passenger coach near Super Highway.

Sources said that directives were issued to beef up checking process in this regard adding that a suspected passenger coach was stopped for checking near Karachi. 40 kilogrammes of charas was recovered which was hidden in the bundle of waste paper.
The Pakistan Coast Guards impounded the passenger coach, recovered narcotics and arrested four alleged smugglers who are being interrogated. Pakistan Coast Guards Director General Brig Atiqur Rehman has appreciated the performance of the Pakistan Coast Guards personnel, the statement added.
