He said this while paying farewell and respect to Syed Qaim Ali Shah. “Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), under the dynamic leadership of its Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has nominated Syed Murad Ali Shah as the new Sindh chief minister, who is fully capable to hold the post of chief minister,” the adviser said in a statement.

After getting votes from Sindh Assembly tomorrow (Friday), the new CM will take all political stakeholders on board and take all decisions in accordance with law and Constitution. The peace and rule of law in Sindh will be his top most priority so that people could pass their lives peacefully,” he said.

The adviser said that the new era of political development has started in Sindh due to political wisdom of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while people across the country have widely hailed his decision of changing the Sindh chief minister.

“Now people of Sindh pin great hopes in nominated chief minister Murad Ali Shah who is energetic and politically mature. He also has a great political wisdom besides being expert in economic and social affairs,” Chandio said.

The adviser said that the new CM will meet people’s hopes as per PPP’s slogan of ‘Roti Kapra Aur Makan’, besides boosting peace, education, health, business and all other socio-economic developments. “Sindh government attaches top priority to media as it is the fourth pillar of the state.

Journalist community has struggled for a free media over the past many decades and we appreciate its role in social and economic development,” he said.

“After submission of resignation by Syed Qaim Ali Shah as Sindh CM, all the ongoing projects will be continued with great care. There will be no hindrance in this regard. New business and social activities will emerge in the province, where people will be prosperous and peaceful.” Chandio said.

The adviser said that PPP respects the mandate given by the masses and is committed to resolve their social and economic issues on priority basis. Sindh government is utilising all available resources to ensure durable peace in the province. “We believe in reconciliation with all the political, social and religious parties as they are the part of Pakistani society. Action will be taken against those elements trying to create anarchy in Sindh,” he said.
