Actor and producer John Abraham and actor Varun Dhawan-starrer ‘Dishoom’, brings to celluloid a fresh bromance.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film revolves around the relationship between two buddy cops.

Though fans of both the actors are excited to see them together on screen for the first time, not many know that John Abraham and Varun Dhawan have been friends for over five years. Besides sharing a fantastic camaraderie in real life, they trust each other immensely.

The duo often exchanges notes about their twin passions – bikes and fitness. No wonder, they hit it off right from the time this writer Rohit Dhawan directorial began and their off-screen chemistry has translated well on screen too. “Varun and I are opposites that attract. Our chemistry in the film is special and I hope we go on to make many such movies,” Abraham said.

“John supported ‘Dishoom’ as if Rohit and I were his blood brothers. He is protective about me and if I hear anyone saying anything against him, I get upset. He doesn’t play politics and is one of the purest actors we have. We are a team in the film as well as in real life,” Varun said.

Varun has called his ‘Dishoom’ co-star Abraham his big brother. When Varun was asked about what he liked the most about his co-star, Varun replied, “John Abraham is my big brother. He’s force one and two combined.” ‘Dishoom’, presented by Eros International and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, releases on July 29.
