Ranveer Singh to travel with Deepika from Goa

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is expected to leave from Goa on a chartered flight at 8 PM, Thursday evening. Husband Ranveer Singh will be joining her, it has been confirmed. The actress Bollywood star, who has been summoned by the NCB probing the narcotics angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, on Thursday confirmed that she will be appearing before the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 25.

According to a report on Times Now, the star couple is expected to touchdown in the city at around 9-10 PM this evening. Ahead of her highly publicised arrival, the Mumbai Police was asked to deploy additional security. Padukone’s team acknowledged that the actress received the NCB’s summon and confirmed that she will appear before the agency for questioning on Friday. The channel also claimed that the actress met with her legal team and consulted lawyers via video call on matters pertaining to the case.

Deepika was in Goa this past week to shoot for director Shakun Batra’s film that also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in lead roles.

The actress made headlines on Monday when it was revealed that her name surfaced in alleged ‘drug chats that came to light during the NCB’s investigation.

The actress’ talent manager Karishma Prakash has also been summoned and is expected to appear before the agency on Friday.

Besides Deepika and her manager, actress Rakul Preet Singh will also appear before the NCB on Friday for questioning.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan also arrived in the city on Thursday evening. The actress has been summoned by the central agency and is scheduled to appear for interrogation on Saturday, along with fellow B-town star Shraddha Kapoor.
