LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said slammed the Punjab government, saying that the province is being governed like a jungle and a change has become inevitable. He was referring to “rising incidents of child kidnapping” in the province. Referring to the recent killing of two people due to electricity wires in Lahore, Sarwar, who has served as Punjab governor, said that circumstance were becoming worst day by day in the province. Commenting over the army chief’s statement, he said General Raheel’s stance on corruption was manifestation of national desires as inflation, poverty, load shedding and law and order were closely aligned with corruption. He said there was a dire need to root out both corruption and terrorism. He said that incumbent rulers had failed to fulfil promises made with people before elections.
