Missing child recovered in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A child, who was kidnapped by an unidentified man, was recovered by the police on Sunday from the precincts of Westridge Police Station. Saim was reportedly kidnapped from a government hospital where he had gone with his mother Sobia Bibi. Cannt Circle Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abdul Rehman confirmed the recovery of the missing child. According to reports, the kidnapper along with the child was roaming in Lane Number 7 of Westridge area. Locals found him suspicious and tried to stop the man, but he ran away leaving the child behind on the greenbelt. A kidnapping case was lodged with the R A Bazaar Police Station against the unidentified kidnapper. The police reunited the missing child with his parents.
